Nursing Services
At Parkland, we offer a wide variety of daily living support and skilled nursing services should you require care for a short or extended period. Our comprehensive professional and daily living services accommodate a variety of needs. We provide compassionate and personalized care to every resident. Some of our services include:
- Eye drops
- Vital sign checks
- Catheter care
- Injections
- Simple or complex dressing

Medication Administration
As a member of our Parkland community, you know there is nothing more important to us than providing service excellence to our residents every day. At Parkland, our team helps residents take the correct medication at the right time and makes sure the prescriptions are filled out on time.
In addition to managing your medication, these certified team members have daily individual touchpoints with you providing peace-of-mind that you can address any health status changes in a timely manner. Parkland will also maintain regular contact with your physician to keep your medications up to date.
Medication administration is included in all Supportive Lifestyle Options. If a resident lives in Independent Lifestyle and is interested in this service, they can contact their Lifestyle Consultant for more details.
Professional Services
Our Professional Services offers personal and companion care with Activities of Daily Living (ADL). ADL enables individuals to remain safe and live independently without assistance. Basic ADLs can include things like walking within or outside the home, eating, dressing, and grooming, using the washroom and bathing. Additional ADLs can include preparing meals, transportation, housecleaning, home maintenance and medications. Over time, when one or more ADLs become difficult, a supportive lifestyle option offers a helping hand to ensure continued independence, happiness, and quality of life.
Housekeeping & Laundry Services
At Parkland, we are committed to providing exceptional housekeeping services. Let our team members help with your daily chores so you can spend more time doing what you love. Depending on the service package included in a resident’s lifestyle option, weekly housekeeping, linen, and personal laundry services can provide more time to relax, socialize and participate in the daily programming.

Residents who need a deep clean can purchase additional services including:
- Extra weekly cleaning
- Cleaning/organizing closets and cupboards
- Cleaning the interior of the fridge
- Cleaning inside the oven/microwave

- Deep carpet/rug cleaning
Dining
Experience exceptional dining in our restaurant-style dining room. Each week, our certified culinary team designs a seasonally themed menu inspired by residents and the surrounding community, using local products whenever possible to deliver a variety of quality and nutritious meals. Dining at Parkland is always a special occasion, whether its sharing a table with neighbours or family and friends. Residents can book a table in the dining room or eat in the private dining room. Residents in our All-Inclusive and Supportive Lifestyles have meals included in their monthly bill but residents in our Lifestyle Apartments can also experience the flavours of Parkland.
