My five siblings and I have been very relieved and pleased with the care, attention and facilities our parents have benefited from since moving to Parkland over a year ago. The nursing staff are considerate and affectionate. Requests for help and explanations of procedures are prompt. Special features such as the Friday afternoon music concerts are greatly enjoyed. Many thanks to Parkland for making our parents’ lives easier, safer and more comfortable.

Adaptive yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support and balance. This style of yoga is a great practice for everyone, as it deepens flexibility and strengthens personal body awareness. With the aid of a chair, the participant can learn many kinds of yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and ways of relaxation, often creating greater physical and mental fitness. These classes are structured so that both people with no familiarity to yoga as well as people versed in the yogic tradition can participate. Instructor may charge.
Enjoy an afternoon at an art gallery or in Fredericton’s Historic Garrison District. Enjoy a game of golf or head to one of the many trails for a walk or bike ride.
