Parkland Clayton Park Raises Flags and Happiness on Their Campus
At our Parkland Clayton Park location in Halifax, it is the small things done by our staff that add up to big happiness, whether we are taking time to chat with residents, to deliver a treasured watch to the repair shop, or to order a special container of a favorite ice cream for a resident and her family.
We recently had a small event that created big happiness. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary as the very first Parkland, our General Manager Jennifer Shannon and our Building and Safety Manager Dave Betts came up with the perfect gift for residents to mark the occasion. The idea of a flag pole in our lovely center courtyard was met with enthusiasm from our residents. As proud Canadians, the flag signifies memories of happy times. On a grey day recently, we had a crowd outside for the inaugural raising of the flag by Jennifer and Dave.
At Parkland, retirement living really is where our residents live their best life in every way.
