Today, in Ancaster, Ont., members of the community came together to witness the official opening of Parkland Ancaster, a community designed with purpose for today’s active older adults.
Parkland Ancaster offers an innovative community design with a full range of service and care options for every stage of life. Separate buildings, or residences, open to park-like outdoor spaces, create an age-friendly neighbourhood setting where residents can age in place, live an active lifestyle, and take advantage of support options as needed.
Parkland Ancaster features multiple dining venues, activity and games rooms, a heated pool, a relaxing spa, and a fitness centre. Active living comes to life further with Parkland Ancaster’s innovative “Park Boulevard”, an indoor streetscape where residents, their loved ones, and community members can enjoy time socializing, attend events, or stroll all year long.
The event hosted valued guests, including Jason Shannon, Shannex President, Craig Cassar, Ancaster & West Flamborough Ward 12 Councillor, Hon. Raymond Sung Joon Cho, Minister for Seniors and Accessibility, and Shannex founder Joseph Shannon. This launch marked the beginning of a fresh concept in older adult living that combines comfort, care, and connection in a neighbourhood setting.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in marking this special occasion.
