What better way to celebrate Valentine\u2019s\nDay than with a story about love? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Genevieve started her new\nbeginning at Parkland at the Lakes (PAL) almost two years ago, the last thing\nshe expected was to fall in love with the boy next door. Just two months after\nGenevieve moved in, a handsome fellow named Eric moved in, conveniently, down\nthe hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eric decided to make the move to\nParkland at the Lakes from Southern Ontario to be closer to his daughters. One\nafternoon as he was heading out of his apartment, Genevieve caught his eye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI opened the door one day and this\ncute little brown eyed woman was standing there.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Being neighbours, it was difficult\nnot run into each other every now and then. Genevieve says it was impossible to\navoid each other while Eric admits that their many run-ins may not have been\naccidental. \u201cI may have been trying to run into her more on purpose than by\naccident.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eric and Genevieve\u2019s love grew\nstronger as they spent time getting to know each other over coffee, dinner and\ngames of Bridge. Genevieve won\u2019t admit it, but Eric says she is a bit of a card\nshark when it comes to Bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last year Genevieve and Eric\ndecided to start their new beginning together in their new shared suite at\nParkland at the Lakes. In their free time, between all the activities and\nentertainment they take in at home, the couple enjoys exploring Nova Scotia\ntogether, especially the road trips to Lunenburg to visit Eric\u2019s daughters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes new beginnings can be a\nlittle intimidating, but once you take the step, they will almost certainly\nalways be an adventure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
