Following winter, homes often need some extra care to ensure everything is maintained and safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since spring is here, it is important to check for any winter damage in and around your home. Concrete can crack in cold temperatures or shift when the ground thaws.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Weakened decks, railings, and porches. <\/strong>Cold winter weather can cause damage to outdoor structures causing, soft wood, loose boards, wobbly railings, or damage from shovels and salt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Heating systems and vent clogging. <\/strong>These appliances work overtime in the winter and can become blocked with lint or dirt, increasing the risk of a house fire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assessing and repairing these damages is vital in maintaining a safe environment in your home.
