As one of the incredible volunteers at <a href=\"https:\/\/experienceparkland.com\/en\/locations\/parkland-on-the-glen\/\">Parkland on the Glen<\/a>, Ethan brings more than just beautiful melodies\u2014he brings joy, warmth, and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A gifted young musician from Oakville, Ontario, Ethan sings in a community choir, performs at local concerts, and has even taken part in several music residencies. It was his piano teacher who first encouraged him to consider sharing his gift through volunteer work, and that suggestion led him to Parkland, where he quickly became a resident favourite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Ethan, the most rewarding part of volunteering is the warm smiles and enthusiastic greetings from residents each week. \u201cIt\u2019s very rewarding, knowing that I\u2019m making people happy every week,\u201d he says with a smile. What started as a way to grow his confidence has turned into something much bigger\u2014something deeply fulfilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through his time at Parkland, Ethan has overcome stage fright, grown more confident, and learned the importance of clear communication and punctuality. \u201cVolunteering has made me a happier person,\u201d he shares. Each performance helps him grow not just as a musician, but as a young adult finding his way in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteering, Ethan says, has taught him more than he ever expected. It\u2019s helped him develop important life skills and, more importantly, given him the chance to give back in a meaningful way. \u201cIt\u2019s very satisfying and gives a great sense of accomplishment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To Ethan, thank you. Your time, your music, and your kindness have touched many hearts. In every song you share, you remind us of the incredible impact one person can have. You don\u2019t just play music\u2014you create moments of joy and healing.
