With Parkland at the Lakes marking its 10-year milestone this fall, we\u2019re shining a light on the people who have helped make it feel like home from the very beginning. One of those remarkable individuals is Gina Amuenda<\/strong>, Wellness Coach<\/strong> and long-standing team member.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gina\u2019s story began in housekeeping, but her passion for people and dedication to wellness soon led her into her current role. Today, as Wellness Coach, she\u2019s an essential part of daily life at Parkland at the Lakes, bringing energy, empathy, and connection to every interaction.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes Gina special isn\u2019t just her experience, but how deeply she engages with each resident. She takes time to understand their routines, attends programs alongside them, and tailors wellness support to suit everyone’s needs. One of her favourite ways to connect? Through music. No matter the genre, you\u2019ll find residents tapping their toes and singing along \u2014 moments that bring the community together.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked what she values most about Parkland, Gina doesn\u2019t hesitate: it\u2019s the people. \u201cI can feel every day how much I am appreciated,\u201d she says. \u201cWhen you’re happy, I\u2019m happy.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we mark a decade of life at Parkland at the Lakes, we\u2019re proud to celebrate team members like Gina, whose dedication and heart have shaped the community from the beginning.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
