We are excited to share that Milestone Communities has become Parkland West Bedford \u2013 the fourth Parkland Community in Metro Halifax! Located in the vibrant and growing suburb of West Bedford, this Parkland community invites you to relax and recharge with nature at your doorstep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, Parkland was pleased to welcome Milestone Communities to the retirement living division of Shannex. Much like Parkland, Milestone Communities was a Maritime-based organization dedicated to helping seniors live their best life in retirement. Parkland West Bedford is designed for seniors who want to age in place while enjoying an active and social lifestyle in retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Stratford building will offer two Supportive Lifestyle Options, Assisted Living<\/a> and Memory Care<\/a>, which will now make the full Parkland Promise of continuum of care and service possible. This change will also benefit current residents who have already created a vibrant and social community in The Pemberley (Lifestyle Apartments<\/a>) and The Highbury (All-Inclusive Lifestyle<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
