Our communities adhere to directives from public health bodies in the provinces where we operate. Please check with your community to understand what precautions are currently in place. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staying Active and Connected<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Keeping active is important and we are encouraging residents to continue walking and staying physically active while also respecting physical distancing principles. Staying connected with loved ones is also important, especially during uncertain times. Each community has its own dedicated recreation plan based on provincial guidelines and programs in place to help families connect with loved ones through video calls, telephone calls, email or deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All of our communities comply with Public Health directives, including guidelines for Designated Support People (DSPs) and palliative circumstances. Please check with your location for information on the status of visits. Whenever possible, we ensure there are multiple opportunities for residents to connect with their loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deliveries<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We monitor and control deliveries closely to ensure we are following best infection control practices and protecting residents and team members. For details about how to arrange a delivery at your location, please contact a member of the management team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dining<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dining is an important aspect of life at Parkland and we have adapted our areas to ensure physical distancing and other infection prevention and control standards are in place. In some cases, we are limiting the number of people gathered and keeping table groups consistent and small. We also support in-suite dining when necessary or desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regular Communications Updates<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each community is sending regular communication updates to residents and families. If you are not currently receiving these messages, please contact your community directly to be added to their email distribution list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admissions and Move-ins<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We continue to accept new residents at all our communities but have advanced protocols in place to ensure that all activities follow our visitor restrictions and screening protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parkland or Faubourg Tours<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are happy to help you experience our Parkland or Faubourg community. Some of our locations can do this in-person while others continue to offer this service virtually. Please connect with the location you are interested in and they will assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
